Tecno Boom J8 and Tecno L8 are both great devices from Tecno, no doubts. Both phones has some unique features that makes it harder to settle for one from the duo, although having enough similarities, the boom J8 slays in the Camera region, having a 13 MP back camera and 5MP front camera while the Tecno L8 is left with 8MP and 2 MP back and front cameras respectively.

The L8 picked up what it left in the Camera department with its battery capacity, it left the Boom J8 helpless with its large 5,050 mAh of battery juice which also supports reverse charging meaning it can be used to power other devices, battery capacity seems to be the selling point of the Tecno L8.
The Boom J8 and L8 also had a tie score in the display and processor aspects, both devices uses an estate that measures 5.5 inches diagonally for display purpose with both screens having a similar resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixel, there is also a quad- core CPU available in both phones, the CPU has a clock speed of 1.3GHz.
The same 16GB worth of internal storage space in Tecno L8 is also available in the boom J8 with an expandability option of up to 128GB via an SDcard, both also got the Android 5.1 lollipop for an operating system.
The price of both phones shouldn’t be left unmentioned, they both fell within the same price range of about N27,000 to N35,000 which is very considerable given to what they have to offer.
